Our mission
BIWizz was born from a simple frustration: entrepreneurs and accountants work on the same data, but from different realities. We're building a shared financial workspace where context is common, and Wizzy — our AI agent — turns company data into answers, documents and actions, always brought to human approval.
What we build
BIWizz is a SaaS platform for Romanian SMBs and their accountants. We connect invoices, banking, documents, ANAF SPV / e-Factura and SAGA in one place, and Wizzy puts that context to work: it issues invoices, reconciles payments, classifies documents and prepares reports and filings — with verifiable sources and human control.
The team
Two co-founders, two complementary perspectives: business and engineering.
Andrei leads BIWizz's product and business. He spent 6+ years at Porsche Finance Group Romania in business analysis, BI automation and product ownership — turning data into decisions with Power BI and AI-assisted workflows — and trained in audit at KPMG Romania. He holds a Master of Applied Finance from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE). That finance-and-operations background is exactly why BIWizz is built around the gap he kept seeing: business reality on one side, accounting context on the other.
Cătălin leads technology and platform at BIWizz. Across nearly a decade at THG he progressed from graduate engineer to Head of Engineering, helping build the e-commerce platform that serves the group's brands and their customers worldwide. More recently his focus has been agentic commerce — designing AI products for premium brands, from a shopping assistant to virtual try-on and other intelligent agents. A University of Manchester graduate, he brings that same engineering rigour to BIWizz, turning a company's tangled financial data into AI that is grounded, transparent and verifiable.
